ABOUT US

The Hirwaun Men's Sheds (also known as Hirwaun and Area Men’s Sheds or HAAMS for short) is a small organisation based at the Hirwaun YMCA founded in late 2016. It is a place for men (and women) of any age who are retired, unemployed or bored at home to meet and socialise with other people. In the future we hope to launch projects, activities and take part in local community events. We exist to try to reduce isolation and loneliness that many men (and women) of all ages experience through friendship, social activities and having fun.
